I have a ticket!

Wow... I received the email today, I have a plane ticket to Honduras! On August 11th I will be flying from Cleveland to NYC, then from NYC to Miami, and then from Miami to San Pedro. Receiving the flight info made this trip seem very real...both exciting and nerve-wracking. I also know that I'm going to be living with a Honduran family, a mother and her two small daughters. I am thrilled. I wanted a learning experience, and I wanted to challenge myself. Being immersed in the Honduran culture and the Spanish language will certainly accomplish those goals! I've seen pictures of the town I'm moving to, and it's very... remote. It also seems to have extremely large bugs (spiders and scorpions!!) which I'm sure would cause me to jump right up onto my desk if I have to face them in person! But aahh, I'm so excited!!! It's hard to believe that it's only two months away.
